the PICK: Clouds - the album by Joni Mitchell

This is a personal revelation of a sort but I tend to listen to Joni Mitchell when I'm efforting to refuel the soul.  She's great that way.  J.M. was initiallly a songstress of the coffee club/intimate setting variety; a poet whose couplets laced together to provide us with some of the most inspired music still over 40 years into her music career.  She's strewn elements of folk, jazz and verse into her creations and it's spellbinding.  The 1969 album, Clouds, won her her first Grammy award and mainstream notoriety.
