the PICK: Charles Robert Darwin - On The Origin of Species
Imagine you’re the seminal author of a manuscript that will change the way man views its own creation. Then, try to grasp being this man and coming to terms with a religious background, which you and your ancestors have followed for quite a long while, and which defies your writings. In this mans shoes, the trails of mankind were walked, written down, and published to show in detail how we came to be and in order to do so, he made many sacrifices for his theories. Very few of us would be willing to do the same.
